Bethesda Student Ministries is a place where students can be authentic and honest while discussing real life issues. We look at how God intersects with life and why it matters. All students, no matter their beliefs on life and God, are welcomed. It is a place to simply belong while being accepted and loved.

Bona Fide

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

Middle School Night

Weekly gatherings for 6th to 8th graders every Wednesday from 6:15–7:45 pm in the Student Ministries room. This is a high-energy night for all middle school students to talk about life and faith in God. All friends are welcome.

Middle school LIFEgroups

LIFEgroups for middle school students meet during Middle School Night on Wednesday evenings.  Groups are divided by age and gender.

Our Confirmation program is integrated into Bona Fide (our Middle School program) and lays the foundation for the curriculum in Bona Fide, as we’ll learn how the great truths of Scripture that are captured for us in the 10 Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, and the Lord’s Prayer are relevant to our lives. Through these core teachings, we’ll learn about God, learn about ourselves, and learn about our relationship with God through Jesus.

Confirmation is voluntary and goes beyond the curriculum of Bona Fide to include extra study at home with specific requirements. Confirmation concludes in the fall of students’ 9th grade year. More details found at the registration link HERE: (

2018 Summer Camp Information (Bona Fide & Kairos)

Inspiration Point Christian Camp + Retreat Center, or IPoint (IPBC), as it is referred to by camp regulars, is our denomination’s camp, located near Fergus Falls, MN. Christ and the Word of God are central to all that is done at camp. The staff cares about kids and their relationships with Christ. The facilities and environment are tremendous. Their focus is spiritual and personal growth, and they pack in a lot of fun and interaction with friends (both familiar and new) in the process.
We encourage you to send your child to camp! Bethesda strongly supports camp by offering the opportunity to earn tuition credit for students in grades 6–12th. Up to $100 toward tuition at IPBC may be earned.
If your child will be attending camp, please send the registration form along with the required deposit to camp as soon as possible.  Camp fills up quickly and there is no guarantee space will be available if you wait. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Eric Johnson (email: The IPBC website is
